Vince Gill plays Duane Allman’s 1957 Les Paul Gold Top Standard guitar Press Release
The Big House would like to send our love, thoughts and prayers to two families this week, after the untimely passing of two “Brothers”
- David “Frankie” Toler, who was a member of the Allman Brothers Band from 1981-1982, and also a member of Dickey Betts and Great Southern in the 1970′s and the Gregg Allman Band in the 1980′s. RIP, Frankie, our thoughts go out to you, your brother Dan Toler, and the rest of the Toler family.

David "Frankie" Toler
-Philip Walden Jr. was an amazingly kind person, and he ran the revived Capricorn Records label with his father, Phil Walden in the 1990′s, helping launch the careers of bands such as Widespread Panic, 311, Cake, and Gov’t Mule. He also supported the Big House Museum greatly. Rest in Peace, Philip, our thoughts, love, and prayers go out to you and your family….

The Big House has a new cedar bench
A big thank you to Chris Ely with Boy Scout Troup 222 who generously donated his time and resources to building this cedar bench and donating it to the Museum as his Eagle Scout Project. Chris, his family and fellow scouts worked tirelessly for months and on Sunday, May 22, 2011 installed this beautiful bench around our big oak tree in the backyard.
Chris is the first Scout in his troop to earn the designation of Eagle Scout.
