Allman Brothers Memorabilia Book Project
The Allman Brothers Band has long been considered one of the premier southern rock bands since the early 1970s and continues to be an inspiration to musicians and fans all over the world. In order to continue the legacy of this iconic band, The Allman Brothers Band Museum at The Big House in Macon, Georgia has committed itself to preserve memorabilia and music for fans to celebrate The Allman Brothers Band for years to come.
Now for the first time, a beautiful coffee table book showcasing the highlights of this massive collection is being assembled in honor of those 50 years of rock and roll history that the ABB created during their legendary career. The cream of the crop of the guitars and other instruments, clothing, contracts, posters, photos, and all manner of artifacts will be presented in a professionally-produced, hard-cover coffee table book, totaling over 200 pages and filled with over 500 photos of the unique memorabilia collection, much of which has never been displayed until now.
In the past decade, tens of thousands of “pilgrims” have crossed the threshold of “The Big House” to view an amazing collection of rare and iconic memorabilia and artifacts that span the 50-year history of the Allman Brothers Band, and now this collection is available for fans to view at any time. The coffee table book is in the final stages of production and will be available for purchase in December 2019, but fans of the ABB are invited to take part in a special campaign through Kickstarter, the world’s largest funding platform for creative projects. All fans are invited to participate in the Kickstarter campaign, which will allow anyone to purchase the book plus incredible Allman Brothers and Big House themed gifts and experiences.
